Woodley Plaza
Woodley Plaza is a City of Brookhaven park located at 1382 Dresden Drive. It serves as a central community gathering space in the heart of the Dresden Drive corridor.
Woodley Plaza was dedicated in 2026 to honor local real estate developer Dan Woodley. Mr. Woodley is a pioneer of the Dresden Drive corridor, helping shape the area into the walkable main street that it is today.

Please help keep Woodley Plaza a safe and enjoyable, family-friendly environment by following the code of conduct and rules below. This space is governed by all City of Brookhaven ordinances found here. Those who do not act responsibly may be asked to leave.
Hours of Operation
Woodley Plaza’s public restroom is open from 6:00AM – 10:00PM daily.
Plaza Conduct
Woodley Plaza is smoke-free and drug-free. Smoking, vaping, tobacco products, illegal substances, and drugs are prohibited.
Please clean up after yourself and your group and return any moved furniture to its original location.
Place all trash in the on-site trash cans.
Fighting, horseplay, harassment, offensive language, shouting, loud noise, or any other behavior that disrupts or endangers others is prohibited.
Sports activities, throwing balls or other objects, riding bicycles, and using skateboards are prohibited.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times.
Do not mark or draw on any surface with crayons, markers, paint, or similar materials. Any activity that damages property is strictly prohibited.
Help keep the plaza beautiful by not cutting, pulling, or damaging any trees, shrubs, or plants.
Selling, vending, soliciting, distributing materials, or requesting donations is prohibited unless authorized as part of an official Woodley Plaza event.
The Parkside on Dresden parking garage is for retail patrons only. If you are not visiting a business, you may not park in the garage. Violators are subject to enforcement.
Loitering or playing is not allowed in the Parkside on Dresden parking deck or on its roof.
Only leashed dogs, cats, and service animals are allowed. Pets must remain under their owner’s control, and owners must clean up after them and dispose of waste in trash receptacles.
Weapons are not permitted, except when carried by authorized law enforcement or security officers.
Alcohol consumption must comply with Dresden District requirements.
Prohibited Items
The following items are not allowed at Woodley Plaza.
Containers & Food Equipment: glass bottles or other glass containers; electrical cooking, grilling, or heating appliances, including hot plates, Sterno, crock pots, rice cookers, and any other appliance requiring power; and outside tables or catering setups.
Safety & Fire Hazards: fireworks, sparklers, open flames, candles, silly string, and snap poppers.
Vehicles & Mobility: golf carts, bicycles, skateboards, and personal electric vehicles, including e-bikes and scooters, are not allowed.
Personal Sound Devices: speakers, sound amplifiers, and other amplified audio equipment are prohibited.
The following items require prior Property Management approval:
Photography or video recording for commercial use
Drone operations
Special events/promotions
Any signage installed in park area
Gatherings / Event Info
Woodley Plaza is a shared community space and public plaza open year-round designed for everyone to enjoy. Small casual gatherings are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis as long as they do not disrupt general plaza use.
